Costco Tire Service Center

It is not worth saving $20 for the lack of customer service you will experience at Costco tire. Discount tire and other tire shops have plenty of employees that are very well trained in customer service. And although sometimes there’s a deal where I end up saving a tiny amount of money by getting my tires here it’s just not worth it because you come in and they make you wait ridiculously long wait times and there’s no customer service available and when they do come, they’re polite, but not helpful. They’re going to do the bare minimum send you to the phone number or the website and not actually help. They don’t seem to answer the phone either. It rings off the hook and no one is answering it. They give you no estimated wait time so you assume that everything’s running on time and then you have a three hour wait time. It’s just really bad it’s obnoxiously bad it’s giving Costco a bad name. It really takes “warehouse experience” to another level. It’s so bad. Having to wait for three hours for a tire patch let me see how so many other people were treated or waiting for no employees available on a busy Saturday. It seems like they had one customer service person who would take bre

Got a nail on my tire the previous day (04/23). Booked an appointment for Friday at 11:30 AM. I was there at 11:35 AM. Agreed I’m late by 5 minutes and what so ever most of these kind of places would be able to accommodate and help me with the issue, but for a change Costco Tire Center in Alpharetta doesn’t! I usually call ahead and let someone know if I’m running late, but when I got into Windward Parkway it was too much traffic and got delayed so didn’t get a chance to call them ahead and let them know that I would be running in 5 mins late. Upon reaching, I was made to wait for 15 minutes until 11:49 as there was just one guy attending 3-4 people ahead of me. By the time I got my chance the ONLY person who was at the front desk simply refused to take in as per my appointment (even though I told him I was here by 11:35) and he was busy with others and no one else was there to attend me who was in the line as per the appointment. The two people ahead of me were enquiring about new set of tires going back and forth which had no relevance to the rest of people standing in the line for pick up or drop off. So yes, I was moved to the WALK IN queue and was told it would take 2 hours a

Bought 4 new tires a few months ago. Right after installation, the tire pressure sensor light wouldn't go off. Called and the guy was dismissive - told me to wait a week and it should fix itself. It didn't. Called again, got attitude; they couldn't fit me in for another 4 days. Wasted 3 hours on a Saturday to find out they just didn't reset the tire pressure monitors. Fast forward to a few weeks ago - got a nail in the tire which was patched by Costco. Then of course the tire pressure sensor light went off. Waited a few weeks hoping it would resolve. It didn't and I took it back to them only for them to act like I was inconveniencing them because I they forgot to reset the TPMS..AGAIN. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

I have purchased set of tires/installation two times from this location in last two years. Both times, I bought/scheduled online ahead of time. The first time was great and I only waited 5 mins to talk to someone. No issues with installation and balance/rotation issues so far. Yesterday, I didn't have to wait at all. Both time process was done on time as promised and the staff was friendly. I have not had to inquire warranty/defective tire related visits yet. Otherwise I have been happy so far.

Great experience purchasing tires online and getting them installed on my Jeep. Tires arrived early and I was able to schedule early morning appointment for install. They called to confirm appointment night before appointment. Levi was incredibly thorough to ensure new tires fit well, did not rub, and had correct pressure. Afterwards he helped me load up my old tires into my truck to take home. Always a good experience getting my tires here and the work from the folks at Costco.
